Sanyo boasts that its VPC-E2 Xacti E2 Waterproof Camcorder (Blue) is four cameras in one because you can record both stills and video on land and underwater (at a depth of 5' for up to 30 minutes). The E2 is perfect for snorkeling, snowboarding, use in the pool, at the beach and just about anywhere there's water or snow. Don't forget about use on dry land though, either. This ergonomically designed camera fits nicely in the palm of your hand, allowing all functions to be easily performed with your thumb, leaving your other hand free to grip the board or adjust equipment when need be. With an 8GB card you can capture up to 8 hours of video and over 2,000 8Mp still images.

Use the generous 2.5" LCD display to compose or play back footage while the 5x optical zoom works to bring far off subjects up-close with no loss in image quality. Other features include digital image stabilization, Face Detection, Super-Fast Start-Up and simultaneous video and still image capture. When you're ready to watch or record your footage to DVD simply connect the camera to your VCR for on TV viewing or DVD recorder for recording.

• Waterproof Recording: Record video as deep at 5' underwater for up to 30 minutes at a time with the Xacti E2. The waterproof function makes this camcorder ideal not only for capturing underwater shots but any time you're near or around water or a wet environment, such as surfacing, at the beach, snowboarding and other outdoor winter sports.

• 8MP Still Photos: Capture up to 2000 8Mp still images to an 8GB SD card. As an added bonus, when you want to take a still but are recording video, simply press the shutter for simultaneous capture of video and stills.

• 5x Optical Zoom: The 5x optical zoom brings your far off subjects up-close for the most detailed shot without any loss in image quality.

• 2.5" LCD Display: The 2.5" LCD display rotates 285° and flips out for easy viewing upon playback as well as capturing those hard to get shots.

• Record up to 8 Hours of Video: When using an 8GB card you can record up to 8 hours of video at 640 x 480 and up to 2000 8Mp still images.

• Files Imported Directly into iTunes: Transfer your video and still files directly into iTunes and easily upload them into your iPod for fast sharing with friends and relatives.

• Simultaneous Video & Still Image Capture: If you want to shoot video and stills at the same time, simply press the shutter button while recording video to simultaneously capture still images.

• Digital Image Stabilizer: Sanyo's very own digital image stabilization system corrects for the age-old problem of handshake. When you're bumped or your hand sways the camera will compensate for unintentional movements.

• Super-Fast Start-Up: Begin recording in as fast as 1.7 seconds and never miss a once-in-a-lifetime moment again! By closing the LCD screen the camera goes into standby mode, upon reopening you'll be ready to record in no time at all.

• Playback on Your TV: Connect the camera to your VCR or DVD recorder to view your footage or create backup copies of your video and still images in continuous and chronological order. You can also connect the camera to your PC and save video files to the computer's hard drive for emailing or editing.

• Sequential Shooting: Shoot continuously at 5 frames-per-second (for up to 10 frames) when in the camera's 2M mode and ensure that you capture the image you want when the action's happening fast. You can also shoot continuously at 1 fps (for up to 10 frames) in 8M mode.

• Ergonomically Designed: The VPC-E2 is designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand for easy, fast shooting underwater or on land.
