Alesis MultiMix 8 Line - 8-Channel Stereo Audio Line Mixer
The Alesis MultiMix 8 Line 8-Channel Line Stereo Mixer features 8 stereo input channels, each with L/R TRS 1/4" phone input connections. The first channel features an XLR microphone input for connecting a (dynamic) microphone.
The front panel features audio level, pan and effects send controls. Master volume and Effect Return controls are also featured. The single rack-space MultiMix 8 line level mixer is an ideal solution for musicians, keyboard rigs, project studios, small venues, bars, restaurants, health clubs, houses-of-worship, schools and more.
- 8 Stereo Line Inputs
- Eight channels feature L/R stereo 1/4" TRS phone connections.
- Mono Summing
- When a mono signal is present on any input or stereo send, the Left signal is automatically summed to mono for mono or stereo compatibility.
- Microphone Input
- The first channel features an XLR microphone input and is switchable between mic and line level signal.
- Effects Send and Return
- A stereo effects send and return provides routing to external effects processors.

I use this product to simply self mix my monitor mix from various sources during live gigs. I often mix my guitar, vocals as well as a few other things into my monitor, but I need to control it dynamically during a gig.
This unit works great for that. In-expensive and very easy to use.

I am a drummer and use the sub channel sends from our main board to send to my multi mix 8 so I can get a better mix in my monitor, I use custom triple driver in ear monitors connected to the board and have the 4 channels connected and I am using my laptop to run the lights sending a click track to another channel on the board. It's nice to have the small foot print of the board behind the drums. I am very please with this product for my application.

I use this mixer as a junction point for five key boards and one rack mounted synth.
The simple, easy to use design is no nonsense and straight forward.
It does just what I need it to do which is keep all my levels even and not overmodulated. Also takes two lines from each board (total of 12 lines)and creates two main outs. I run these thru a stereo DI then to the PA.
