I bought this so I could get fast transfer of digital media. It does that well but the puny stand that was provided is a waste. They could have left that out because it's magnetic attaching point is too week to withstand inserting media cards without falling over.
The Good: Fast transfer speeds. Multiple formats.
The Bad: Magnetic stand does not work.
The Ugly: Didn't see any.

I use it to download pictures from CF cards. It does it without error and at the speed you would expect from a USB 2.0 device.
My only real complaint is that SanDisk should make an effort to be consistent. On my older ImageMate 12 you put the CF card in with the CF card label on the left. On this one you put in the card with the label on the right. I use both since I use two different computers. Now I have to squint to see the print on the slots of the reader to see which way the writing is (because the one consistent thing is that if you turn the reader on the side and can read the writing then you put the card in with the label UP). Shoving cards in without thinking could bend pins. Not the biggest deal in the world, like it is no big deal if the steering wheel is on the left or the right of a car. Both work, but life is easier if it is always on the same side...

Accepts all newer cards. Magnets on stand don't hold the reader very well, tends to tip over.
Comments about SanDisk ImageMate All-in-One USB 2.0 Reader:
Turns out it "WON'T" interface with IPAD2 and I received run around from both SanDisk & Apple. Typical finger pointing, both saying its the others responsibility.

Slightly faster than transferring pics directly off my camera but really not a significant difference. Only real advantage is not having to use my camera to get pics of my memory cards anymore.

My notebook does not have a Compact Flash reader so I bought this. My Canon DSLRs use CF so have to buy something like this. It works for that purpose. The only CON is that this cannot read SDXC cards. I do not own SDXC cards right now, but I wish it supported it for future compatibility.
