Attached to my Poleroid pocket camera, this easy-to-use pop-up shade keeps glare and light from the LCD screen. It fits perfectly based on the manufacturer's detail of 2.7" screen. Easy to put on, the folded shade keeps the LCD screen free of smudges and finger prints when closed. It offers additional protection for the camera in its case or when dropped in a pocket. I have a Delkin shade on my Panosonic camera also -- would not leave home without this vital accessory.

Mounted it on my Nikon Cool Pix camera LCD to help block out any unwanted sunlight/light to be able to view LCD much clearer. Only problem I had was with the installation instructions and a problem with removing the protective plastic sheet on the Pop-Up Shade. Had to call item's 800 number to find out how.

Used on a NIKON COOLPIX Camera. Very,very helpful when using the camera in bright light areas. Easy to install and to use.

This fit my FujiFilm camera perfectly, with its 2.7 inch display screen. The color is a great match. It does the job I needed it to: blocking out the sun so I could see the display to take pictures.

I fitted the product to a Lumix digital camera which I use for both work and pleasure. We are world experts in the use of electric fencing for security and wildlife control and have customers in many different countries.
In December 2009 I was in Trinidad with a new customer and took many pictures on work sites and of the bird life in which I have a great interest.
The product worked well at the start - effectively shading the screen in bright sunlight - but this did not last long because in the heat the adhesive failed and the shade fell off the camera.
I replaced it but it did not last long and I was forced to remove it permanently for fear of losing or breaking it and have not used it since.
It's a great concept and product but unless it stays on the camera it's no good so you need to reveiw the quality of the adhesive tape currently in use.
I also thought that it was too difficult to open the shade and wondered if the pressures applied to do this contributed to the subsequent adhesive failure.
