I bought a new set of these thinking that the original battery was dead only to find out that someone had changed a setting causing my EL-Skyport not to trigger my lights. After buying a new set of extra batteries I realized that there was still plenty of life left in the original battery. They seem to go for a long time before losing their charge.

Don't try your luck with local brands, they are the same voltage, but simply are manufactured larger and can be twice the price. Buy a couple here, these work as expected and the price is respectable.

I buy this batteries as prescribed by Elinchrom for the El Skyport transmitter. You can get a busy day of shooting out of these batteries, but be sure to turn your transmitter off when not using it to save on their life. I keep about 10 of them around the studio at all times.
