I have a 24 inch iMac, two years old. I read we all have to have the monitor calibrated, and I fell for that. It took several attempts to calibrate this monitor, which by the way looks great without the calibration. Finally it took but oh my how dark. I know, I know.. your eyes will get used to it. I don't buy that, but ok. A week goes by and I get a warning to recalibrate. I tried over a half dozen times before it finally "took" but now it's so red. Sooo, I reboot and try to profile again. Now it won't let me profile. [...]. Look, only calibrate if there is a problem. And make sure you can return the product. Now I'm stuck with this thing that doesn't even work. Sooo, the good news if there is any is that I went back to the standard monitor setting for my iMac and it looks GREAT!

This works really well when you get it figured out. When using the calibrator on my laptop, I had to move the window to the top of the screen and centered to get it to calibrate correctly. But, after I did it made a world of difference in my color corrections. Every four weeks it automatically prompts me to recalibrate my monitor and it is done very quickly and I am back at work. You just can't beat it for the price.
