The Lensbaby Magnetic Aperture Set is a replacement set of all the aperture discs that allow you to achieve f/2, 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16, and 22 aperture settings. This system of magnetic discs is used with all the Lensbaby versions, except for the Original (1st Gen.) Lensbaby.
The set includes the magnetic wand aperture removal tool, and custom storage case.

I'm not sure why these arent included with the lens, but they definitely make it more versatile.

I didn't realize an aperture set came with my Lensbaby Composer but for the price it is nice to have in case I lose any of them.

I've had an older version of the Lens baby which came with disks that only allowed me to shoot at f8 or below.
The new version now allows me to shoot up to f22 and each disk is labeled! Looking forward to shooting a bunch of keepers.

If you want the high/low apertures you need the kit. You will end up with 2 of the aperture disks in the mid-range since the lens itself comes with some disks. You will also have 2 magnet pens to remove the disks. That is the only downside, at least the price is right!
