The Canon DIGIC III image processor provides advanced Face Detection AF/AE - a unique Canon technology that automatically detects faces in people shots and optimizes focus and exposure accordingly. Other key advancements include ISO 1600 sensitivity, Red-eye Correction for sharp, superior quality images, and an Easy Mode that allows the camera to take complete control of its settings to allow you to concentrate on your scene.
