I bought it for my DT48 headphone. I also use an AKG K240DF with it.

The materials are excellent -- stiff foam and rugged zippers, and a nice look too. It also has a carrying strap on the top so you can hold it safely.

While it is very well padded on the sides and on the bottom, it doesn't offer even a mininimal protection for the top (where the logo is), so I can't just throw it in a bag and forget about it, which makes it not suitable for carrying your headphones (safely).

However, it does offer nice padding so you can store your headphones at studio or at home -- mainly to allocate a special place for them rather than protecting them in the first place.

In the bottom line, if you need a CARRYING case, go look for something else. But if you want to have a special, nice place to put your headphones in while not in use - this is the way to go.

The headphones fit in the case well, but if you're carrying it back and forth to work, it's a bit large. It's lightweight however, and the headphones are stored in foam within the case, so there's no worry about damage.
