I've worn out my original pads on my DT770 Pro and decided to go with the gel cushion. The item looks great on my DT770 pro which is also black/black,

They were very easy to install once you learn to flip over the rubber seal that wrap around the edges all the way around first then flip them back into position to complete the install.

The sound isolation improved dramatically as the gel does a much better job of keeping the outside noise due to creating a better seal around the ears as well as the material not letting sound enter. Overall definition and response improved noticeably.

The gel cushion is also incredibly comfortable. I have no complains in that regard. I can wear my can for hours on end and the gel maintains great seal and comfort throughout.

I do live in California and I am a bit concerned about sweating in summer months. However, This is a very minor issue as I've already started to wipe down my ear cushions periodically as the surfaces is made of vinyl-like material that can easily be cleaned with a bit of rubbing alcohol and cloth. I would rather wipe down the sweat and wash my face rather than have the pad soak in sweat and wear it against my face, so this is definitely not a deal breaker.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase and enjoy my cans even more. I hope this helps.

Gives great isolation which means it allows clearer treble and more pronounced bass. I can feel the sound in my ears better. It is very snuggly fit and comfy. The material is almost silky soft, makes the ear a more sensitive area as it already is and would probably annoy someone with extra perspiration. My head don't sweat much while using the computer so it's great for me. After following instructions on how to remove the stock pads, I just flipped the new pads' inner flip over and flip it back over the cans.
