The AC-405 from MXL is a high-quality USB speakerphone, ideal for making phone calls and having voice conferences with software such as Skype, AOL Instant Messenger, iChat, and other messaging programs. The unit can connect to any laptop or desktop PC or Mac computer. The USB connector provides plug-and-play compatibility, with no special drivers needed. The USB connection also supplies power, so there is no need for batteries or additional plugs.
The AC-405 has a cardioid microphone that provides clear vocal pickup while reducing background noise. The swivel arm lets you position the mic right where you need it. The large speaker built into the face of the unit provides clear playback so you never miss a word.
