A simple and efficiently designed beginner's telescope, the Carson Optical SkyRunner comes with a tabletop tripod with simple altazimuth movements, but also can attach quite comfortably to a normal camera tripod because of its light weight. Included in the package is a 45° diagonal viewer to make earthbound use very easy, a finderscope to assist locating objects to see in the main scope, a pair of eyepieces and a 2x Barlow lens (giving you 4 effective magnifications). This is a great gift for kids and a nice scope for daytime use.
