These fit my Sony MDR-V6 perfectly and I can't distinguish any difference in sound. I replaced one side only initially, and can put the phones on normal or opposite ear- the sound is the same. I mention this because the Pearstone's covering skin continues to cover the foam pad on the inside edge of the ear-cup; the Sony skin covers only the outer and face surface- exposing the inner edge of the foam pad- one might think this could alter the response. Also I can't discern which side is on which ear by feel. Other ear pad reviews question whether a new foam pad is included- obviously, it is. Installation is just a littlt tricky, but do-able: First remove the old pad by pulling the skin flap out of its slit in the speaker housing. Start on a flat side and work around. Install the new pad by pulling its skin flap into the slit, it's best to start at the junction of a straight side and a curved end, work first around the curve, then down a straight side, and continue around to the starting point. This will stretch the material a bit, then it will snap down into the slit when when completed. As someone said, like putting a tire onto a rim.I'm totally satisfied, [...].I just hope the rotting skin problem is fixed, and they last forever!

I bought the MDR-7506 replacement pads for my Sony MDR-V600 headphones. The 7506 is thin and not very "cushy". Although the 7506 stretches to fit the headphone, the pad area is smaller and does not fully cover the headphone. The 7506 is less comfortable than the original pads.
Because the originals had totally deterioated, the replacements are better than nothing.
Next time I'll seek out better pads someplace else.

Comments about Pearstone Replacement Earpads (Pair):
The hesadphone earpads fit well after installation. These were for my old Sony MDR-V6 headphones. They are a bit of a challenge to stretch onto the plastic frrames after the old deteriorated Sony covers are pulled off, but they work!

Like all Sony MDR-7506 replacement headphone earpads, these are tough to get on. But once they're one, you're set. They are comfortable and look and feel just like the Sony version.

The pads on my Sony phones were in really bad shape. The had lost bass and left little black flakes of plastic on my ears and hair. For [$], I was able to recondition a $100 pair of Phones

Comments about Pearstone Replacement Earpads (Pair):
Much better than buying a new pair of headphones just because the earpad is leaving black dust all over your face when you DJ. These were a bit tough to get on the first time, but eventually figured it out. Would buy again for sure!

Comments about Pearstone Replacement Earpads (Pair):
These earpads are comfortable, lightweight and do not distort the bass as with the velour replacement pads. They were easy to put on the headphones and remained comfortable after long recording sessions. Granted it is the same material as the original pads, so eventually in a couple of years these too will need to be replaced, but I think these are a better choice over the velour earpad.

The old pads crumbled. I thought about buying a whole new pair but then thought to look and see if there are replacement pads and voila. EZ replace. Cans, like new.

Comments about Pearstone Replacement Earpads (Pair):
I have two Sony MDR headphones that I use in the field and at the studio. So they take a little beating. Needless to say, the earpads on BOTH pairs got a little "tore up".
Instead of buying new headphones, I decided to replace the pads. I did a little research and found these Pearstone replacement pads. The price was right, so I purchased a couple of sets.
I had read that they were difficult to put on. Honestly, I didn't them difficult at all. It took me about 10 minutes to replace BOTH headphones.
As for comfort, I can't tell the difference. The pair that I use in the field are just as comfortable after several hours of use.
All in all, it was a much better decision than replacing the headphones.

The earpads are not quite as thick as the originals but create a good breathable seal. I find the sound quality to be just as good and can wear them longer without irritation.

Comments about Pearstone Replacement Earpads (Pair):
I was glad to find these replacement pads as my originals were beginning to get flaky and had started to tear. The replacements actually fit much more tightly and will probably not accidentally fall off. I do not notice any difference in performance or comfort.

Comments about Pearstone Replacement Earpads (Pair):
I should have replaced those Earpads sooner. Once the soft cover starts to tear, the foam that is underneath gets caught on the velcro parts of the mixer bag and cable ties. I didn't realize what a relief it would be when I got new ones. And I didn't realize that the new pads provide noticeably better sonic isolation than the old ripped up set. This time, I bought two sets so I can change them out sooner.

So far so good.Earpads fit easily on headphones and are comfortable!

These replacement earpads work as expected. They are very similar to the originals found on my MDR-V6.
The only con I have is that it can be a little tricky putting them on at first.
