The CINELITE Waveform Monitor Software Option for LV5800 from Leader is a software package designed for use with the LV5800 Multi SDI Monitor. This application enhances the performance of that unit by offering on-picture measurements of video levels in several different formats. By moving the program's target receptacle around the image, you can select specific pixels to make measurements in real time.
More specifically, CINELITE measures the following (4) formats: luminance (Y) percentage, RGB percentage, RGB numeric value (0 to 255), and f-stop. The first (3) formats evaluate the raw video data as it comes in from your source. The fourth measurement, f-stop, can be configured to comply with the gamma curve of your video camera to get f-stop measurements with the same method used by film professionals. CINELITE comes equipped with a standard default 0.45 gamma curve and (3) slots that can be configured to match a custom setting.
