Comments about Canon imagePROGRAF iPF710 Wide Format Printer:
We use our iPF710 to print out mechanical and electrical drawings. Our average volume is around 100 prints per month. It replaced an old HP DesignJet 750C Plus.
The iPF710 was easy to put together and set up. Like another review mentioned, you do have to go on the web to get the Windows 7 drivers, but they are easy to find and easy to install. This printer prints in a fraction of the time it took our old printer! The quality of the printout is crisp and clean. Perfect for our needs!

for the price that B&H are providing this machine and the quality of the prints that the printer produces, this is truly a steal. The image quality is amazing and it allows you to print on a variety of self feed and roll materials. Simply a must buy if your in the market for a plotter.

We just received our IPF710 printer and we will use it for printing blueprints.
It was easy to set-up and use. works really well. I am glad we made this purchase.
the only thing that wasn't so great was the disc they sent to load on the computer. the program is not made for windows 7. So, i had to go to Canon website and manually download the files i needed.

Comments about Canon imagePROGRAF iPF710 Wide Format Printer:
This printer makes very nice high quality prints. It also prints extremely quick, a lot quicker than I expected. The only thing that I can think of that isn't so great about it is the fact that the cutter will not cut through canvas paper, and that is mostly what I print on. Other than that, I love this printer.

Comments about Canon imagePROGRAF iPF710 Wide Format Printer:
For the price, it is one solid and easy to set up product you can get. It does its job. If you are looking for a wide format printer only, this is the one and the most budget friendly. I wish these weren't too much price difference between this one and the one with the scanner module.

Comments about Canon imagePROGRAF iPF710 Wide Format Printer:
I had been wanting to replace a twelve-year old HP DesignJet 450C 36". The equivalent replacement appeared to be the DesignJet 510C. While doing my due diligence, I decided to look at Canon's offering. I didn't expect the Canon to beat the HP, but the performance was not even close. Jobs that used to take me 25-30 minutes, now take 4-5 and the quality is exquisite. I would prefer to write this review after more experience with the machine, but so far, I am extremely impressed and happy with my company's purchase.

THe people at B&H Photo were simply fantastic! This was a cross border order into Canada. They supplied every bit of info I needed immediately. 5-7 days turned into just 3 days. Awesome service.
The iPF710 was exactly what we needed and is exceeding expectations. A snap to setup and install, it went without a single hiccup. And looking at the competition before purchase nobody came close, and at a price point $2,000 less than we budgeted.
