The Apple iPod nano 4th Gen 16GB (Black) expands your media horizons with its video playback capabilities in a super slim 6.2mm aluminum chassis. Watch your videos on the super bright 320 x 240 resolution screen that has an amazing 204 pixels per inch. The iPod nano incorporates a new Genius Playlist, which analyzes your current song selection and creates a new playlist composed of similar selections found within your music library. With its Click Wheel, shake mode and Cover Flow, the nano is easy to navigate or create instant shuffle mode. The nano includes a powerful lithium-ion rechargeable battery which provides 24 hours of continuous music or 5 hours of video on a single charge.
Access the iTunes store to buy movies, TV shows or download free audio or video Podcasts and watch them on the crystal clear 320 x 240 pixel display that is 65% brighter than before. The nano comes pre-loaded with three games; Vortex, Maze and Klondike and you can download even more fun at the iTunes store. These iPod games are designed specifically for the iPod interface and will look great on the 2" display. The nano will also sync with your PC or Mac via iTunes to view your favorite photos with thumbnails or even slideshows. The nano is packed with extras such as; contacts, calendar, world times, and a handy stop watch to time your workouts when you are at the gym.

I was very hesitant about buying an iPod because I run windows vista, and I had heard about all of the problems. After using my iPod for about a month I have not had one problem with it concerning my computers operating system. The only real problems I have had with it that it will freeze up every now and then, and it is very hard to find a video format that it will accept. Other than that a wonderful product.

I bought this as a replacement for my 80gb iPod Classic after the hard drive died 13 months later. With no moving parts and the solid state construction, the 4th Generation nano is more durable than the Classic.

I love this product as it is very slim and compact with high capacity (16 GB). All my friends also asked me about this. I am connecting it to car speakers and output is awesome.
GOOD PRODUCT FROM APPLE AND GOOD PRICE FROM B&H.
Only 1 time, it hanged for unidentified reason (for me) when connected to system and recovered after restarting it. Hence giving 4 points out of 5.

I bought the 16 GB nano to listen to while exercising and hiking. This is the first Apple product I have purchased. I have a large music collection and the 16 GB is sufficient to hold all of my files, with space left over for new music I add to my collection. If you plan to store photos as well as music then you may want to upgrade to an Ipod Classic, Touch or Iphone with a larger memory. The Nano screen is small, so I also would not suggest it for your main photo viewing or movie watching device. Setup is not difficult for anyone with basic skills, but if you are tech-phobic get someone to set it up for you. Bottom-line: this product is ideal for active music lovers who may also want to store a few photos.

I bought this iPod for my 12 year old son. It has many great user features, such as the "shake" shuffle, where if you give the iPod a sharp shake, it will randomly select a song. It is all flash-based (no hard drive), so it has no moving parts and is extremely rugged. Comes with several simple games as well. I opted for the additional memory (16 GB instead of 8), this was a good move, as it fits almost my entire library.
No downsides yet, except for the earbuds, which I don't like in general. This device works great with the studio headphones as well.
