The SA6 from Sleek Audio is a unique in-ear headphone system. Unlike most headphones, which feature fixed levels of bass and treble, the SA6 actually has a variable equalization system that allows you to choose your desired levels of bass and treble.
The headphones feature wideband balanced armature drivers with custom porting to provide clear, natural sound with a wide frequency response. For ideal comfort and stability, three different sizes of eartips are included. By using the proper eartip size, you maximize noise isolation and bass response.
Comfortable and ergonomic, the headphones fit deep into the ear canal. Depending on your preference and ear size, you can either wear the headphones with the cable against the cheek, or by sending the cord up around the ear. Accessories include a carrying case, tip cleaner, and bass and treble tuning ports.

Comments about Sleek Audio SA6 Adjustable In-Ear Headphone System:
Comfortable, great sound. The foam eartips are the best ones. They may be expensive, but I've had other Kleer technology earbuds, and you get what you pay for. I use them wired, and with the wireless unit (M-1) for silent TV listening at night.

Comments about Sleek Audio SA6 Adjustable In-Ear Headphone System:
Fits really well and sounds cool, gotta love the ability to adjust the sound yourself!! Awesome for plane flights or if you just don't want clear amazing music without the need to crank the volume to block everything else out or hear clearly! Also, the cord plugs really well into the earbuds so no need to worry about them falling off the cord.
Been using them for about 3 weeks now and very pleased with them!

Comments about Sleek Audio SA6 Adjustable In-Ear Headphone System:
B & H has the best price on these that I have found by far, and the earphones haven't disappointed.
Some reviewers have complained about the tiny pieces needed for fine-tuning the sound. True, but you don't need to do that more than once, unless you are a fanatic about changing your sound envelopes. Once in, they stay put.
I haven't used the standard ear tips, as I have custom molded ones I have used from other Shure's and Westone's. Fits fine, and the sound is equal or superior to any others I have tried in this price range.
I particularly like the fact that the cords are removable if you damage them, and that you can attach a wireless module for even more freedom.
Highly recommended

Comments about Sleek Audio SA6 Adjustable In-Ear Headphone System:
The Sleek Audio SA6 are a great pair of earphones that offer great sound, a modular design, and cheap cord replacements! If you ever break the cord (and this is the #1 reason for any pair of earphones to break), you can just buy a replacement cord, and not have to pay for the whole thing.
The sound is warm and colored but very "fun" sounding, yet still highly detailed. For even more detail at the expense of a bit of sibilance, try the Treble++ tips that come with the new 2009 revision. The bass is clean and punchy, without being overpowering. I suggest the Bass+ ports over the Bass= ports; I find that the amount of bass is just right, and the + ports actually give a more expansive sound. These don't require a headphone amp to sound good; you can plug this into your MP3 player, and it will sound fine!
If you've never tried bi- or tri-flanges before, the bi-flange eartips might take some getting used to. But once you do (it took me about an hour or so), they are very comfortable and easy-fitting. I prefer them over the foam tips you find on Shures and some other brands, if not only because they are easy to fit.
One last thing, these IEMs are small! Very nice and strong sound in a tiny package! They're light and not intrusive, and so is the cord. Sleek Audio is also releasing a new cord with a built-in microphone, so soon you can even use this with your iPhone!

Comments about Sleek Audio SA6 Adjustable In-Ear Headphone System:
I got these while waiting for my Shure SCL4's to get replaced under warranty. I read some good reviews on head-fi.org and was curious about their customizable sound.
This review will be my personal comparison between the SA6's vs. Shure SCL4's, SE530's and Sony MDR-7506's (over the ear monitors).
Firstly, I love my 7506's. They have awesome definition in the mids and highs and a good amount of bass. They're kind of bright but I love hearing the details in high hats. That was the sound I was hoping for in the SA6's. Unfortunately they didn't quite live up.
Lows: The SA6's with the neutral bass port really lacked bass in my opinion. After I put in the + bass port, it was better but still wimpy. Kick drum had some impact but didn't have the fullness. With the + bass port, they were a bit better than the SCL4's but no where close to the SE530's.
Mids/Highs: I changed out the neutral high tips for the "extended" high tips. The SA6's have more upper range compared to the SE530's, but at the cost of a loss in the upper mids range, making the highs sound brittle. That's probably my only complaint with the sound of the SE530's, which is that they take a dive at the higher frequencies so a lot of the details in the highs get lost. But I think I prefer the richer sound of the 530's, and even the SCL4's, over the dryer sound of the SA6's. But, that's just me.
Construction: Construction was mediocre. The + bass ports didn't go all the way into the headphones.
This is all just my opinion. I listened to the SA6's with electronic music on my computer, iPod, and iPhone.
