My wife's older laptop had problems running some newer software. Installing this Memory Upgrade Kit was almost like getting her a new computer. It boots up and shuts down more quickly; the newer software runs without problems; and her older software opens and operates with greater speed. It performs as advertised and installed in just a few minutes.

I installed this memory from the stock 1Gig and it has been amazing. Installation took a few minutes. The computer starts up in half the time. Multitasking is greatly increased. You can open multiple windows/applications without noticeable slow down in performance. I'm just disappointed that DELL did not make this standard on the Inspiron 1501 notebook. BH has the best price around. Believe me I did my research!! T.
