The GRC-BASE-14 Deluxe Console Rack Case from Gator Cases is a base-unit rack designed to fit conveniently underneath any standard or Gator GRC Series rack. It features (4) casters, (2) of which offer a locking mechanism. This unit will accommodate 14U of equipment. Lightweight PE construction, heavy-duty twist latches, and recessed side handles contribute to the unit's durability.

[...] My main gripe is the top metal frame is bowed in a slight amount which makes it impossible to put a unit in the very top 1U space. I could have tried to get brutal with it to bend it, but I decided to just skip down one space, as I'm not filling the rack anyway. Besides that, the top plastic is rather bendy and bows downward a little - so I put a piece of wood on top to support what the stuff I'm putting on top of it. It's tall enough to rack up a lot of gear, but short enough to use the top of it as a desktop of sorts. The casters are top quality. The rack rails itself are not actually attached, they are fastened by whatever screws you have in - it came with 4 screws in, and the wheels screwed in, so it was plenty attached. Just know not to unscrew everything or they'll fall out. It comes with a ton of screws, but the plastic washers are pretty lame as they squish, tear, and fall off if you screw in with decent torque. There are rack rails/threads on both front and back of the rack which is awesome if you want to rack gear facing out the back and the front - which I needed. It's a great rack overall, but its not perfect.

The picture for this rack shows about 10u while I can guarantee that the actual rack is truly 14u. This is a great rack for me because it is extra deep compared to most and can easily accommodate my server mount pc case. The casters roll smoothly and the build quality is quite nice with hardy handles on both sides. I will definitely purchase another once I expand a bit more.
