This is a wonderful, very portable HD/DVD combo. It's terrific for smaller spaces, like a kitchen, laundry room, bathroom or bedroom in which additional equipment may not be desired. The speakers are not very powerful, which is why I only gave it 4 stars, so this TV wouldn't do well in a large area. But, I definitely would recommend it for the above applications.

I bought this mainly to use as a DVD player for my two year old son. It's perfect for that purpose -- the picture is fantastic. I only gave it three stars because it only gets a very weak digital signal for TV channels with the digital antenna I bought -- we don't get cable service. That, however, may not be the fault of the TV itself.

This fits perfectly under the cabinet in my kitchen, takes up only a minimal amount of space, and has a very clean picture and good sound. The added bonus of a DVD player is wonderful, as well. Setup was a snap and we were watching and enjoying it as soon as all the channels were automatically populated. Tried out several of my DVD's and they functioned perfectly, as well. The picture and sound options are numerous and give you a great variety of choices. Looking forward to viewing movies from my videocam and hooking up my laptop so I can watch some free movies from Netflix. The only thing that could have made this better, would have been if it came in 1080p.
