The Op/Tech USA RAINSLEEVE- FLASH (Pack of 2) (Clear) is designed to protect a camera, lens and shoe-mounted flash from any unexpected weather conditions. There is an eyepiece opening that will fit most camera viewfinders that allows composing shots through the lens, not through the plastic. The camera and lens controls are easily visible and operable through the rain sleeve with an extra area to protect the flash unit. A drawstring lens opening provides easy access and a snug fit for the sleeve. It will fit an SLR camera and lens up to 14" with a 7.0" lens diameter.

I have used this product in Kauai, which has the world's greatest annual rainfall. I use the big Canon 100-400mm and it was not an issue with it (though you have to make sure the strings are tight around it) One of the sleeves was missing the drawstring stopper, but even without that, this worked as designed with my 24-105. I didn't need to put my hands inside to operate it, but I could have if needed.
The only annoying part was the cord kept getting in the way in vertical shots. The solution is to tuck the cord inside the lens area. A lens hood is highly recommended as is a UV filter in front of the lens. The camera straps will prevent this from being 100% covered when hanging around your neck, though the sleeve is long enough to make enough folds, but it is a pain.
I had my eyes on the AquaTech sleeves because it's "the best", but what I think that product is the best at is if you are photographing on a tripod, as you see in sports events. For hand holding, this works great, and I am venturing to guess even better. The Aquatech would, however, be a "tighter" fit than this. I still felt there were areas of possible ingress on this product, but without a strap around the lens like the Aquatech, you will have to deal with that.

For its purpose and price it works okay. I found it to be too large and what little instructions there were were not the best. It isnt difficult to figure out though. My lens was smaller than the one shown and I thought I was getting a smaller one.

Comments about OP/TECH USA RAINSLEEVE- FLASH (Pack of 2):
Unless your camera will be static on a tripod, this rain cover is difficult to use. It moves around, the tightening string on the end of the lens slips around, and I found the plastic not very durable where you have to fit it around your eyepiece.

Perfect for use against rain and sports. I personally used this for paintball tournaments and it helps keep paint off my camera perfectly.
What I don't like is that it comes with two separate rain covers but both have space to cover a flash. I personally think it would of been better to have one with a flash space area and one with out it for when you don't need one and that way there wouldn't be extra space hanging down

Wish I had this product a few days earlier for a shoot in the rain, instead of a large trash bag. Just what I was looking for. But definitely for the next time! Well designed. Don't know how it will hold up.

Comments about OP/TECH USA RAINSLEEVE- FLASH (Pack of 2):
I tried to use this sleeve with my Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens (no lenshood). The sleeve was useless as it came sliding off the lens all the time. The cord to tighten the sleeve around the lens didn't help either. Probably if I had a lens hood, the sleeve wouldn't have slid off the lens. For the size of this sleeve, it's best suited to use with longer lens (like Canon 24-70 f/2.8 lens) and with a lens hood.
When it worked, the sleeve did a good job to protect my camera. Definitely worth the price (if you know how to use it correctly).

Comments about OP/TECH USA RAINSLEEVE- FLASH (Pack of 2):
I purchased the Optech Rainsleeve for a shoot during Carnival in Ecuador. It's a tradition there to throw water and spray foam at passersby during the holiday--especially gringos flashing a D40x/18-200 VR/SB-600. The Optech rainsleeve was a cheap and easy way to keep the festivities in the lens and my machine out of the shop.
There's a built-in hole to fit around the eyepiece and the open-end was sufficient for my hand(s). You have to dismount the lens, insert it into the sleeve separate from the body, and reassemble the unit once it's in. Not a big deal, but you have to plan ahead. The drawstrings around the lens keep the glass exposed, and limit your ability to fine-tune if manual focus is what you seek, but otherwise shooting, even at great distances, is uninhibited.
For the record, the Optech Rainsleeve is NOT waterproof (nor does it claim to be). However, it's a great, cheap way, to keep basic-to-intense grime, grit, sand, and the occasional celebratory water balloon out of your shoot.
A lack of holes for my strap left me wanting, but other than that, the ergonomics/fit was solid.
Today, I write this having returned to the Northern Hemisphere with a clean camera thanks to Otech sleeves.

Don't be afraid to take your camera outside in the wet! That's where the pictures live, most of the time. will fit compactly in your bag or vest.
Useful in inclement weather, and you can shoot with flash! Keeps salt spray, dust, water, and other nasties from your tender electronics. What's not to like??
Durability is a question, but the per-use cost should be reasonable. OpTech makes good stuff, so probably not a worry.

One of those items that you don't know you need until you need it! It will protect the camera and flash from rain, snow, dust, and whatever else may be splashing about. No more holding an umbrella with one hand, and the camera/flash in the other!
Durability is a question to be answered, but Probably a very low per-use cost.
