Yes, the Lenovo t61 can use 8GB RAM. [...] This crucial memory was well-reviewed, with an eye towards working on my Lenovo. The resulting pair isn't matched, but still works dual-channel. Maximum performance for virtual machines, and digital audio production under Cubase. B & H had the best price by far. With a couple of weeks use so far, recommended.
