Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard Photosmart D7560 Printer:
Still playing arond with it, but so far very pleased with the HP D7560 and IMO the quality can't be beat for this price.
Printer was easy to set up, had clear instructions with pictures and clear information slip in the box notifying me to get the setup software directly from the HP web site for WIN 7 OS - actually faster than loading a CD if you have high-speed internet.
I use this at home for business cards, general printing and especially for photos. It also printed a CD label beautifully(sample blank CD came with printer). Printing speed was very good. I use the "fast draft" mode for most B & W docs - the quality looks fine, uses less ink & very fast.
I did adjust the color settings a bit, switched the default to sRGB (it was a choice in the printer software color management). A 4x6 print under the new color profile matched my test photo very closely.
The printer is noisy on start-up as it does its checking and ready routine, but I don't find it bothersome.
One last note - It wasn't clear to me at first what that black window on the left of my browser was that suddenly appeared, but I finally figured out that the printer software also added "smart web printing" - an icon is now on top of my IE command bar which toggles that screen capture window on or off on the left side of the browser window. I now use this as a simple way to select the exact screen area I want to print!
Also pleased with B&H - first time using them. Easy transaction - I will be back!

The directions for the set up were simple. I haven't tried the CD/DVD printing yet. Photos printed great. A little noisy. But that doesn't bother me. Would purchase it again.

Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard Photosmart D7560 Printer:
The 7560 was only about 5 months old when the "ink system failure" appeared on the display. I did everything that the online help support said to do. That includes cleaning the head and electrical contacts. After doing this I still got the error. The printer wasted an entire 5 extra capacity inks that were only a month old. HP tech support is the worst of the worst. Good luck in speaking with anyone you can understand. [*]tech support argued with me that my printer was out of warranty. He could not understand that his system showed when HP sold it to the store and not when i purchased the item. From recent personal experince and others that i know HP prodcuts including their laptops (a friends died after 9 months) are total garbage. To their defense and their CEO, if i made 25 million a year like he does i would not care either.

Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard Photosmart D7560 Printer:
I use this printer with my iMac running OS 10 X 10.5.8 and it is doing a good job. It is easy to configure with the various documents that I need to print. The initial price is a bargain but the ink cartridges are expensive. Photos printed in iPhoto are easy to setup and print. Over all I would recommend this printer.

Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard Photosmart D7560 Printer:
Inexpensive printer delivers superb print quality along with fast output. Setup appeared to stall at 95% but printer still works OK. Toolbox unavailable if you're using Firefox. Seems to use a lot of ink. Still a great printer for the price.

Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard Photosmart D7560 Printer:
At 33pps printing speed, this workhorse pumps out your docs. My only frustration with it is its constant adjustment of itself; i.e., instead of doing it when you're not using the printer, it does it often before it will print a job.

Very easy setup, but it does embed itself deep in your system.5 ink cartridges so if you plan on printing photos hold on to your wallet.Excellent quality though.I print mostly just pages from net & still using original ink after 2 mos. This is my second pc though so prob 20 pages a week average.Great cd printer.
