The L2 Ratchet Strap Bracket from Morovision facilitates the attachment of night vision gear to a variety of helmets. This system is engineered to operate in two different modes. The break-away mode protects the operator from injury; the mounting base is designed to disengage from the helmet when excessive stress or interference is placed upon the mechanism. The second mode allows the universal NVG mount to lock securely on the base.
The L2 system is designed to fit a variety of ballistic and non-ballistic helmets, including half-shell and PRO-TEC helmets. The front hook and rear hook brackets are firmly secured to the helmet with a non-stretch strap via the ratchet cinch mechanism.
