The Tamrac 3375 Aero Speed Pack 75 Dual Access Photo Backpack (Black) is a 600 denier PolyTek backpack with thick, closed-cell foam lining for shock and vibration protection. The Dual Access System allows fast access to the equipment either through a side door when the pack is worn over one shoulder or through the front panel when the pack is removed. For weather protection, the side door is equipped with a water-resistant zipper while the front panel has a weather flap.
The 3375 has a foam padded bottom photo compartment that holds and protects a digital SLR camera with a 7 1/2" lens attached, 1-2 additional lenses and accessories. The large top compartment can hold personal items, such as a lunch or a light jacket. The side door accessory pockets hold memory cards and lens caps and there is an elasticized mesh side pocket that provides convenient access to a water bottle. The backpack is carried by an EasyGrip padded carrying handle and a comfortable, foam-padded, contoured harness that spreads the weight of the camera gear across the shoulders.

I gave this pack a good test over the Holidays and am very satisfied with it. I use it as my primary camera bag. It's great for daily use and hikes. However for longer or more difficult terrain it should have a detachable padded belt to transfer some of the weight to the hips. I took it on 2 hikes and after carrying it for 3+ hours it still felt comfortable. But an all day hike might be too much with all of the weight on the shoulders.
The pack is easy to swing around to access the camera thru the side opening. I had no trouble keeping it on my left shoulder by using my left arm to trap it in place. The side opening is tight if you are using a battery grip. I carried a Canon T1i with a battery grip and 18-200mm lens with the hood inverted and it fits fine once the hot shoe is past the lip of the opening.
It could use a few more external pockets. But one of the reasons I chose this pack was the water bottle pocket. Most camera backpacks do not have this. It works great and can be accessed without taking the pack all of the way off by using the same technique you use to access the camera.
The top section holds an adequate amount of gear for day hikes. A little bigger would be nice.
I like the appearance of the bag because it doesn't look like a camera pack. I've seen many day packs that have the same layout.
Overall it's a great pack for everyday use, hiking or a day at the park.

When I received the bag the strap on one side kept sliding out of the harness but I needed it for a trip so I just had to make do with a knot to keep it in place. I bought it specifically to travel with a laptop so I could download images regularly but I found it too heavy to carry. Even without the laptop it is heavy and bulky. I've had the bag for 6 months and done 3 trips with it and one of the zips has broken so no 'strong contruction' points from me either I'm afraid. I have a smaller lowepro backpack and wish I had rather paid the few extra bucks and stuck with that brand.

Comments about Tamrac 3375 Aero Speed Pack 75 Dual Access Photo Backpack (Black):
Great construction and very easy to access camera, but my one major gripe is that it's really packed tight when I have all my equipment in it. It says that it will fit a camera with lenses plus a flash and 2 extra lenses in the main compartment but it's VERY tight with all that. Wish there was a bit more room for the extra 2 lenses.
What I have in my bag:
Canon 7D w/ 17-40L
540EZ
EF-S 60mm
Sigma 30mm
NOTE: If you have all large lenses like "L" lenses, they will not all fit.

Would have given it five stars but the water proof zippers were a little hard to use.

Like the compartments for all of my camera and gear. I feel like the tabs help keep everything in place and protected. I wish the top had a little more space though and that it was offered in more colors.

Comments about Tamrac 3375 Aero Speed Pack 75 Dual Access Photo Backpack (Black):
I wanted a backpack that could hold my camera equipment and personal items. This backpack seemed to fit these requirements. It is a sturdy backpack that is well constructed and doesn't look like it holds expensive camera equipment. The two cons for me are that the zippers are a little difficult to zip/unzip and I would have liked more pockets. It would also be nice if there was a rain cover.

Comments about Tamrac 3375 Aero Speed Pack 75 Dual Access Photo Backpack (Black):
I bought this backpack not too long ago to take as a hybrid daypack and camera bag for a trip (11 days) to the Canadian Rockies (light hiking, sight seeing, and horseback riding). I put my camera, kit zoom, three small prime lenses, along with 4 memory cards, charger, extra battery, polarizing filter, rain pouch, and misc cleaning accessories in this bag, and usually stuffed a rain jacket or small souveniers in the top pouch/section. Also held a water bottle quite well in a side pocket.
I love the dual access system. I can easily swing the bag around and take out my camera and take some shots. If I'm done I can easily put it back and my gear is safe and secure.
The bag quality is great. I do wish the top section was bigger/roomier, but then I guess that's why there is one model above it. Pack is well padded, but I also wish the pad for the back could allow for slightly better airflow. Travel-wise, it looks like a plain jane backpack so doesnt scream expensive camera gear inside.
Definitely recommend the bag, but suggest to get the 85 version as it seems to be just slightly bigger. Either version should make for good day pack/camera combo for an adventure.

This Backpack is ideal for DSLR w/lens attached, 2 additional lenses and a flash and short hikes. Very comfortable and weight seemed very evenly distributed during use. Would strongly recommend this backpack for most bang for the buck or those on a budget.

I love this backpack ! It is comfortable while hiking and holds exactly what I need. With a pocket for a jacket and or a snack... and a bottom section for your photo gear. I love the easy access pocket so you can get to your camera quickly for your next shot. Only thing I would change or add would be a waist strap for stability when hiking. Otherwise a great backpack for short quick trips.

I bought this backpack for my upcoming trip and it looks great. i fit my D300 (the batery does not fit) with 24-70 2.8, flash, 50 mm and i still have room for another small lens or maybe the videocamera.
as i mention before the camera does not fit with the batery and there is no room for my 70-300 so it will stay home.
the bag fits comfortable and the space on top is great but if you spill something is going straight to your equipment so be carefull.

I read the reviews for this bag and a Lowepro equivellant and decided on this one. It's a great bag for the cost. The materials are heavy duty and it works great as a day pack/camera bag. Granted you won't fit a days worth of gear into it, but for short hikes, etc. it works perfect.
Holds more than enough gear for a day hike.

This backpack contains my primary D90 with the additional macro lens, my flash, batteries, hoods, etc. and holds everything extremely comfortably. The side loader feature is amazing, and is great for quick access to the camera without removing the bag.
At first I thought this bag would be way to big, but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised and can say that I am 100% satisfied. This bag won't let you down!

This fit my needs until I attached an "L" quick release to the bottom of my D2x. Then the side opening was too small and the section for the camera is a tight fit. I still use it, it is a little tight for my liking. If I am just out shooting handheld, I works fine.
