The Benro A-069M8 Travel Angel Aluminum Tripod with BH-00 Ballhead is a professional-quality tripod that has lightweight, highest quality aluminum alloy legs for top performance at an economical price. In addition, magnesium is used for all die-cast parts. Despite its lower weight, magnesium is more rigid than aluminum, and has the same strength per volume.
Travel Angel tripods are easy-to-carry so you'll want them with you at all times. Travel Angel's unique 180 degree foldover design allows them to be folded into a compact package that can easily fit into backpacks or luggage. However, when you need quick setup, excellent maximum height and a rigid, stable support, Benro Travel Angels are impressive performers.
Travel Angel tripods feature individual leg angle adjustments, anti-rotation leg design, a reversible center column with spring loaded weight hook, anti-dust and moisture rubber leg lock grips.

Comments about Benro A-069M8 Travel Angel Aluminum Tripod with BH-00 Ballhead:
I bought this tripod to carry in my carry-on when I travel. It had to hold my 5D with my heavy 24-70 lens and still be compact and light to travel with. It has met this criteria for me. This is a nifty little tripod. It has an unusual way of folding up but that is what makes it so compact and you get the hang of it quickly. It comes in a very nice case that you can carry over your shoulder which is great for traveling as well.

When I first touch this tripod, I feels how rock solid it is, every pice of this tripod is very tight, with a three lock positions on the legs. If you have the money, but the carbon fiber version, with less weight and more load support.

Comments about Benro A-069M8 Travel Angel Aluminum Tripod with BH-00 Ballhead:
I debated whether to use my existing Bogen carbon fiber tripod or buy a smaller one for the upcoming European trip. I decided to go small and purchased the Benro. I wished I hadn't. The tripod is fairly heavy considering it's only 13" folded. It's only slightly lighter than the 23" Bogen. Though I'm only 5'7, I often found myself extending the center column fully. But the thing I disliked the most was the leg slippage, which would happen if the locks weren't completely tightened making for time consuming setups. The tripod was a displeasure to use and the compactness does not make up for it's shortcomings. I should have used my larger Bogen for the trip instead.
