Comments about Sony ICF-CD3iPSIL CD Clock Radio for iPod and iPhone:
I am using the " aux in" to listen to my MP3. That is working well, especially when use the Sleep button to shut both off. Sometimes there is a hum, and I wonder if that is from the magnet inside.

Comments about Sony ICF-CD3iPSIL CD Clock Radio for iPod and iPhone:
I need a new alarm clock, also some CD, iPod player, useful for my new born baby room, and this is great for it. It's also a soft light for his room. The speakers are quite good for an alarm clock and for a baby needs to keep sleeping with music.

Comments about Sony ICF-CD3iPSIL CD Clock Radio for iPod and iPhone:
I wanted something to replace my clunky boom box in my small apartment. I am delighted with the ease of use, and sound quality.
Since I use it in the living room of my small apartment, I welcome the glow of the clock which I see other are bothered by. I am a senior :) and have been wanting a night light in my living room for some time. This serves that function nicely without the need for another toy.
I can switch from my favorite radio programs to a playlist with a click of the remote
The set up was so simple I was amazed.

Comments about Sony ICF-CD3iPSIL CD Clock Radio for iPod and iPhone:
Easy to use, no complicated controls. Sound remarkably good for such small speakers. Changing alarm settings is a bit more annoying than the old dream machine- you have to work through the multi-step menu, but having 2 alarms makes up for some of that.

Comments about Sony ICF-CD3iPSIL CD Clock Radio for iPod and iPhone:
Visually appealing, this clock/radio steps beyond its DreamMachine precursors by adding an iPod/iPhone alarm source option to the CD, radio, and buzzer options, and unlike many similar units, this features a battery back-up for the clock/alarm in case of a power interruption. The dock tucks away invisibly inside the unit when not in use. The CD player uses a clip-spindle, making it usable with 3.5" miniCDs. Dual alarms feature independently selectible sources, volumes and, in the case of iPod or CD sources, starting tracks. There's also an auxiliary 3.5mm input, though it can't be used as an alarm source. Finally, the unit comes supplied with a credit-card remote which can access some basic iPod, CD, and radio features, making it not only an highly functional dual alarm clock, but an acceptable mini-sound system for a dorm room, guest room, or small apartment. On the down side, the speakers distort at moderately loud volumes, and the face, which forms the CD player lid, has no latching feature, so a groggy hand could accidentally flip open the CD chamber fairly easily.
