The Olympus Stylus 1050 SW Digital Camera is incredibly durable, sleek and stylish, combining rugged body construction with shock-absorbing materials and waterproof seals, making it the ultimate pocket camera, and a must-have vacation and party accessory. It incorporates a high quality 3x zoom lens and a capture resolution of 10.1 megapixels to provide beautiful images. Plus it is loaded with features to make shooting easy and fun. Twenty-eight shooting modes are built into the camera to cover many common shooting situations including Candle, Sports and Underwater modes to take perfect shots with a minimum of fuss and effort.
Other unique features include the tap control feature that lets users access select camera features by simply tapping the camera, Face Detection which automatically focuses and optimizes exposure for sharp, brilliant portrait pictures, and Digital Image Stabilization that uses the cameras high ISO sensitivity and faster shutter speeds to freeze the action and capture sharp, blur-free images even if you or your subject is moving. Took the camera out on my kayak, and shot wonderful pictures - no blurring, and great color. Camera is VERY user friendly. Don't have to memorize all of the little icons because the camera explains them to you. Like that it is waterproof, and is so small that it fits right in any purse that I carry. Have a number of digital cameras, and I really like the size, ease of use, and versatility of this little camera.
