Dynalite continues to evolve and improve on their theme of maximum dependable power in a featherweight package. The Dynalite Road Series RP500 500 Watt/Second Power Pack features a sleek new finish and color accents, while managing to shed almost a pound from its previous incarnation's weight.
Power can be equally distributed (symmetrical) among the 3 outlets or separated into a 1-outlet "A" channel, and a 2-outlet "B" channel (asymmetrical). In either case, overall power can be further broken down from full to 1/4 or 1/2 via an intuitive rocker switch. Finally, output can be further tweaked with the variator knob (think of it as a dimmer), that regulates the pack in 2/10 stop increments over a 2 stop range. In fact, when pumping all of the power through a single flash head in the "A" channel, up to 18 different power settings are possible.
The RP500 offers a three-way modeling light control: on: full, on: in proportion to power, and off. The housing incorporates a built-in optical slave and infrared receiver. Used with other strobes, the slave "sees" the light and fires instantaneously without having to be hard-wired. Alternately, infrared transmitters such as the Dynalite IRT-1, can be used to wirelessly trigger the pack or other Wein infrared receivers.Further refinements include "plain English" labeling of controls and a universal phono plug input for direct camera sync.

This is a Dynalite RH1050 Road Series Mini Flash Head. The RH1050 is a 1000 watt/second, convection-cooled economical, minimum weight flash head. It has a built in recessed reflector with 140° coverage and no hot-spot for even light dispersion. The high reflectivity design provides for greater efficiency in softboxes and light panels.
As the pioneer in compact studio and location lighting, Dynalite was the originator of the wide angle "built in reflector" design which offers ease of use with umbrellas. Every Dynalite flash tube is hand mounted in its user replaceable shock absorbing reflector assembly and tested for flash consistency, power output and color temperature accuracy.
Optional attachments are available to alter the intensity and shape of the light emitted from this head. A power supply for this flash head is required.
This is a Dynalite 40" White Umbrella with black backing.
It softens and broadens the light from any strobe source. The black backing prevents stray light from passing through the umbrella.
This umbrella folds down to less than 20", for packing into lighting kit cases.
This is a Dynalite Sync Cord. One end is a 1/4" "Phono" style plug that fits into any compatible power pack or monolight, the other a PC (Post Connector) plug that fits into your camera. It enables firing of your flash from your camera from up to 16' (5 m) away.
The Dynalite 0671LW 2 Pack/3 Head Case is a padded, nylon case made to hold 2 Dynalite power packs with 3 heads, cables and accessories. It has 3 outside pockets for papers and cables. It uses 2 overlapping carrying handles with a grip to carry the case.
