This is a Profoto Giant Parabolic Umbrella Style Reflector. This 7' (2.1 m) Silver umbrella style reflector provides a hard light that is also soft. It is hard light because of the surface of the reflector. It is soft because its size, in relation to your subject, is large enough to be considered "wrap-around" with distinct, crisp highlights.
The Giant Reflector has two focusing positions. Select the wide position for 100° light spread from your Profoto flash head. Select the narrow position to provide a bright spot with vignetted falloff.

I've been using this unit in my studio for several months now....just love the quality of light! Has a super cool look, wrap around....just love it. it's big, I was going to get the 5' but went with the 7' for less fall off. It's easy to set up. build well, very solid. Looking forward to taking it on location. Worth the price.
