The design is excellent, discreet and yet roomy. I can easily stuff in a canon T2i (550D) with 70-300mm lens attached, a standard 18-55mm kit lens and a 50mm prime lens. Apart from this there is also enough place for the battery charger, battery grip and additional batteries. I wish there were additional pouches on the underside of the flap, but it is not that big a disadvantage.
This bag is in the same price range as a Tenba Black label but lacks the build quality of the latter. Lowepro could have used better leather especially since the rest of the bag is very well made. However, I feel the Lowepro design is superior since the Tenba is bulkier and more inconvenient to lug around in crowded cities. Its easier to pull the camera out from the Lowepro that it is from Tenba. In fact, it is a lot easier than many other camera bags.
If you are looking a for a discreet, slim, roomy bag for a mid sized SLR with 2 - 3 lenses (1 big zoom and 2 smaller lenses) then look no further.

This bag is well constructed and a really good bag in many ways. It just wasn't the bag for me. I was looking for a stylish slingback or shoulder bag and I really liked the design of the Classified. As a petite woman, however, I found it too masculine looking and too bulky. Also, it was the style of bag that you load your camera into lens first, but the camera was suspended mid-air; felt like a waste of space. I would recommend it for a guy who wants a stylish, inconspicuous camera bag.

Looks great, carries well. It's not the bag you use to schlep a laptop and your gear. It carries a few lenses, even the big bulky telezoom, and has enough pockets to carry the extras.
The only complaint is that the padding on the shoulder strap is fixed, making it a bit awkward at times.

Comments about Lowepro Classified 160 AW Pro Shoulder Bag (Black):
This bag was not bad for the price. I would have liked to see more easy access pockets and/or a side pocket for a water bottle, but I guess it's ok for what it was designed for. I put my d7k with the 24-70 attached and the 70-200 2.8 in the other slot. There was no room for my 2x converter unless atatched. I also was hoping for a little room to fit a body on the other lens. I'm returning this bag and ordering the Think Tank Urban Disguise 70. I also found the top access a bit cramped, and don't like that you need 2 hands to operate the zipper due to the floppy ends of the opening.
I do like LowePro products but this one didn't suit my needs.

I was looking for a new, discreet bag for my Canon 7D kit and thought this may be the go. It fits an extra lens, a 580EXII speedlite and a few bits and pieces but it is a tight squeeze when my battery grip is attached. The padded strap is fixed so can be uncomfortable if you need to have it on your shoulder for any length of time.

Easily holds Nikon d700 with 700-200 attached plus 2 additional medium size lenses. The top opens wide so it is easy to pull your gear out. I combined this with a think tank photo shoulder harness (turns it into a backpack)and love it for walking around with a small amount of gear. Found the dividers confusing - pulled out the mail dividers and just use one small divider at the bottom to make it easy to get gear in and out. Wish it had side pocket for water bottle or flash.

Comments about Lowepro Classified 160 AW Pro Shoulder Bag (Black):
Before I bought this bag I had purchased the Lowepro Classified 140 thinking that I could use it with my Nikon D700 and the MB-D10 battery pack, but the 140 is a little too small for that combo. Now that I have the 160 I have a well-built bag that is ideally suited for hiking and shooting in the rain. I can easily extract the D700 (with MB-D10 battery pack attached) fitted with a 28-300 Nikon zoom lens. There's still enough room inside the bag for a couple of additional smaller lenses. The design of the rain cover is really well thought out - being able to quickly pull it out of it's lower enclosure and over the bag works just fine.

If you just want to tote the bare essentials with ease and convenience, this is the bag for you. Well built and designed to hold a DSLR camera, two lenses and a flash with ease. Great/comfortable shoulder strap, adjustable compartmental pads and additional pockets/space for ancillary items.

I bought it for 5D mark II with grip.
It is a good looking, easy to carry bag. I can fit my body with 70-200 mounted, 2 extra lenses and Flash. It is bit tight with grip. Still fairly easy to put in and out but hard to zip up. If You thinking about caring two body, buy something bigger.

Comments about Lowepro Classified 160 AW Pro Shoulder Bag (Black):
I got this bag as a primary lightweight and discrete travel bag for my 5DM2 when traveling overseas. The zipper top is great for easy access and the adjustable panel dividers are quite nice as well. The all weather cover is great especially when visiting places with tropical downpour. My only gripe is that it is a very tight (and not recommended) fit for my 5D, 24-105, 70-200 and 580EXII flash (plus Gary Fong difuser). It it was just 2-3 inches wider, I know this would all fit nicely. Some may say, "Why not go for the next larger size?" Well, the next larger size is considerably larger and I was already planning on going with the 250AW to carry all my gear and laptop anyway. It's a great bag if your camera has a built-in flash which gives one ample space for another lens. Another improvement would be to add an elastic outer mesh pocket for a water bottle. As mentioned before, just a couple more inches and this shoulder bag would be 5 out of 5!

This bag will nicely fit my Nikon D200 with a 70-200mm 2.8 lens mounted on it, and still have room for an additional lens in the main compartment. Nice design details, extra storage besides the main compartment make this a very nice purchase. The access from the top makes it very easy to pull the camera out for a quick shot.
I have no complaints!

I own a d700 + battery grip, 70-200 2.8 VRII and a 24-70 2.8 and it can all fit it in if i remove the battery grip from the d700. All in all I use this bag primarily to carry my lenses when i shoot events. You might find the Boda bag to be slightly bigger with an increase in price if it seems like a better choice.
I give it a rating of 4 because i wished it was slightly bigger.

I'm a shorter than average woman who could never find a comfortable bag to hold a couple of kilos of gear. I hated the slingshot and couldn't find anything else until discovering this little gem. My boyfriend is much taller and finds it equally good. The shoulder strap is very comfortable. It is slim and great for walking through crowded and somewhat dubious streets in Asia and best of all doesn't look like a camera bag.

I love it! What else can I say. For years I carried a standard style shoulder bag and decided I wanted something a bit less bulky and conspicuous. This bag meets the criteria and swallows a shoots worth of gear with ease.
I am able to carry in it my T1I with battery grip mounted to the EF-S 17-55 f2.8 IS, Sigma 10mm f2.8 fisheye, Sigma 10-20 f3.5 and Canon 70-200 f2.8L. There is still room under the camera/17-55 for a TC to sit.
The wide mouth zip top opening gives ample room to access everything easily in a well built and fairly compact design. There are storage pockets galore and the tethered media storage pouch is a nice addition as is the rain cover.

I use this bag to carry a 5d mark II with 70-200 2.8+a power grip attached.
I still have room for my 24-70.
It is easy to pull the camera fast when I am on the go.
The built quality is very good.
I wish there was an outside sleeve for a monopod

I love this bag. You can pack a lot in it and it is not too bulky. It will hold my 5D Mark II w/the 70-200 2.8 L lens attached. It still has room for my flash and a couple more lenses. It is easy to get the camera in and out of. It can be heavy when fully loaded.

Comments about Lowepro Classified 160 AW Pro Shoulder Bag (Black):
This is a modern non-traditional bag that wears and travels well. There is enough room for a camera body with lens mounted, plus two additional lenses and accessories. I like the looks, ease of access to camera and lenses from the top-loading bag and the way it hangs on my shoulder while walking/traveling. My other bags are Domke's and this one seems to work better and fit better for a digital slr than the traditional Domkes. The top zippered access and slimmer profile is what makes this bag unique and very useful for "camera-ready-to-shoot" situations. Not everyone will like the top access, but this feature sets the bag apart from others. The size seems just right for carrying and traveling with carry on camera gear, versus the larger 200 AW or the smaller 140 AW (which might be a better "shooting bag"). All-in-all, a good choice with a different look and modern materials. I would buy it again and recommend it to others looking for these features.

I'm a photojournalism student and needed a bag that had enough room for my equipment and then some. It's small enough to carry everywhere but big enough inside to carry my books and photo stuff. I also think that being so sleek helps out a lot.
