Kirk PZ-119 Arca-Type Compact Quick Release Plate
The Kirk PZ-119 Quick Release Plate is an ultra-compact and lightweight quick release plate that is custom designed to snugly fit a Canon EOS 1D MK III & 1DS MK III camera. Machined from 6061T6 industrial strength aluminum, it follows a weight-saving hollowed-out design. It also features an anti-slip lip that prevents the camera from rotating, especially during vertical shots.
This plate follows the industry-standard Arca-Swiss design, which also makes it compatible with quick release components from other manufacturers (e.g. Arca-Swiss, Acratech, Foba, Graf/Studioball, Novoflex, Wimberley, et cetera).

I used a "universal" plate for some time but it would work loose after a while. This fits like it should and provides the quick mounting/dismounting to a tripod that I need.

Very good fit on the 1D MarkIV. However, it seems a bit heavy and was bigger than expected. I feel like it could have been 15 to 20% lighter and smaller by streamlining the profile.
