A speed ring is required and not included with this unit. Remember to get the best type of speed ring for the light you are using. If you plan on using it with multiple lights we recommend the adjustable speed ring.
This Impact Medium Luxbanx Softbox (24x32") is an economical medium-sized softbox for flash lighting. It features a white interior, and includes an internal and an external diffuser (both removable), which can help with refining the hard/soft ratio of your light. In addition, optional grids can be attached to the recessed front of the softbox via touch fasteners, which can be used to narrow down the spread of light.
The softbox is easily assembled using the softbox "skin", four flex rods, and a speed ring (not included) for your specific flash head. This size is great for product or still-life photos, or portraits. Use only with flash, not hot lights. Speed ring required for use is not included--available separately.

I use this Medium Luxbanx 24"x32" softbox for small product photography.
With only the outer defuser screen attached, the lighting output is too hard and not even. With the inner defuser also attached, the lighting output is soft and even. My Chimera Pro II softbox has a soft and even light output with only the built in outer defuser attached.
The setup and takedown process for the Luxbanx requires more time and effort, compared with the same sized Chimera Pro II softbox.
However, the lower cost and good quality make the Luxbanx 24"x32" softbox worth owning. I would buy it again.
