Comments about Litepanels MDVAP-C DV Adapter Plate for Canon:
I bought this item after we had almost stopped using our Micro LED because the light faded with your AA batteries. Now we can use our leftover Canon GL2 batteries, which still work, to power the lite more consistently. The MDVAP-C adapater plate was easy to install by just removing the battery plate and the batteries. It clips right in and there is no play, although with it's plastic build, we'll see if any develops with more use.
The price is reasonable for such an easy fix to a pretty major problem.
The only downside is that the Canon batteries it recommends to use, BP-911, 914, 924, are no longer in production and you must buy off-brand replacements for discontinued batteries (albeit popular discontinued batteries).
