Porta Brace TLQ-39XT Quick Tripod/Light Case (Signature Blue)
The Porta Brace TLQ-39XT Quick Tripod/Light Case (Signature Blue) is made of 1000 denier Cordura nylon and has a padded interior. It is designed to carry light stands and a 2-3 head lighting outfit or a tripod up to 38.5" long with a head and accessories. It has a wide mouth opening for easy access to the equipment. The case has interior reinforcing bars to keep it rigid. Light heads and stands can remain assembled within the case allowing for quick set-up and use.
The TLQ case has exterior and interior pockets that provide space for accessories. The case has a red tie-down strap for the tripod or stands and a rigid foam padded bottom for protection. It can be carried by a heavy-duty, padded, suede leather shoulder strap, suede leather covered carrying handles and suede leather covered haul handles on the sides.

I use this case with my Sachler DV6SB head on a set of Vinten sticks. It's roomy enough to fit more than just the tripod so it's perfect for transporting to various locations. The interior strap gives that added security and it's built to last. A bit pricy but considering the level of protetion it provides, it's worth every penny.

Bought for airline travel for light stands and accessories. I can fit five full-size light stands, two 60" umbrellas, boom arm, reflector holder, and quite a bit more miscellaneous accessories.
Made of very heavy-duty nylon, no-slip bottom, very heavy-duty handles and removable shoulder strap, case looks good, and is very light weight compared to alternatives. Some might like wheels but they would add weight.

For me this is the perfect travel bag. I shoot stills and video on location. This puppy fits my Gitzo tripod, three full size light stands, two nano stands, big roll gaffer tape, boom arm, umbrella's, softbox, gels, clips, etc. The velcro tie down holds everything tight for shipping. Big beefy zipper, quality construction throughout, a real workhorse. You get what you pay for, buy quality, it will last you.
