This case is well made but is too small for the Canon SX IS. Placing it into the case is easier than taking it out. Also, it is very difficult to close the snaps. You really need to stretch the leather over the Camera. No space for anything but the SX1 IS

Comments about Canon PSC-4000 Deluxe Soft Case:
I needed a case that could either wrap around my waist or hook to my belt for quick access to the camera while hiking. This case is perfect. I have the Canon SX 10 IS and the PSC-4000 soft case holds my camera nice and tight. The case opens/closes easy and the camera can be removed/inserted easy. My main priority was to find a case that would hug the camera without any extraneous space to minimize the size of the case hanging off my belt. Perfect.

Perfect camera case that is padded and made well.
My only complaint is that I wish there was a small handle/strap so you could carry it more easily.

Comments about Canon PSC-4000 Deluxe Soft Case:
overall a nice product. magnetic clasp makes opening and closing case very easy along with dual zippers. i wish there was a small pocket on the sides for extra batteries and memory card. otherwise a nice product and i would definitely recommend this case for this camera

Comments about Canon PSC-4000 Deluxe Soft Case:
The leather case is nicely manufactured, but not for the SX20. The camera fits so tightly that one has to remove the lens shade, any filters, and then force the camera into the glove-tight bag. Having performed this feat, one cannot stretch the bag flap far enough so that the two small magents will match up and hold the flap shut.
There is absolutely no room for batteries, extra SD card, or a flea.
I am ashamed of Canon for trying to force this on the consumer. It was made for the SX10 but does not work for the SX20

I know the case should fit the camera snug, but the case must close without feeling like you will damage the camera.

compact, attach to belt, feeling your hands for other things. Soft and very light.

Comments about Canon PSC-4000 Deluxe Soft Case:
The nicest thing about this case is its size--it fits the SX20IS perfectly, and thus takes up little room compared to larger cases I've seen. That said, the size may also be the most frustrating thing about the case, as getting the camera in and out is no quick maneuver given how snug the fit is. Once you get used to it, though, it's a great case and works exactly as expected.

Comments about Canon PSC-4000 Deluxe Soft Case:
Not ergonomically designed well. Must remove and reverse the lens shade to fit into the case. Camera fits too tight and is difficult to zipper and snap closed. Only has one camera lanyard strap on the right side so you have to unsnap the strap to remove the camera. If it had both a left and right lanyard strap you could just slide the case out of the way to use the camera. Thinly padded.

Comments about Canon PSC-4000 Deluxe Soft Case:
I bought this case to fit a Canon Powershot SX20 IS. If you are looking for a case to actually fit the camera, this is not it. It also has no extra room for any accessories. Overall I am very dissatisfied with this case. I had to buy something different.

Comments about Canon PSC-4000 Deluxe Soft Case:
Good protection for the camera when not in use. Fits very well. Has a small strap that can loop around the neck strap so when case is removed and camera is in use, it just hangs there not to be lost as in the case of the lens cap for the camera
