This Canon ACK-DC50 AC Adapter Kit is a must for any photo enthusiast with the Canon Powershot G9,10,11 & 12. For Indoor long shots and reviews on computer this is the ticket. Not just for review but when using computer to download pictures it's a must. Especially since it uses NO Battery power which during these procedures tends to burn the life right out of these expensive batteries. I would definitely recommend this product and would certainly purchase it from B & H.,[...] ALSO..... DO NOT get the HYBRID Brand as CHEAP IS DEAR! And, by the way, B & H has the cheapest price for this adapter, [...] THANK YOU B & H!

I've put off purchasing two of these for a long long time. For one simple reason. I mount the cameras by their mounting bolt and was afraid they wouldn't fit on the screw mounts if the battery door had to hang open when these power supplies were used.Turns out, the battery door can be completely closed when using the external power adaptor.I took a look at the outside edge of the camera and there is a tiny spring loaded trap door (in the side of the camera, just large enough to allow the thin power coord that comes with the adaptor to exit out the side of the camera where the trap door meets the battery door.Normally its spring loaded shut tight, no doubt to keep out dirt and debris. But I can lift it easily with my finger nail to see how its supposed to work.Very clever, Canon thinks of everything!That and the fact that they're available from B&H made the decision super easy.Canon says they're out of stock, and so does [...].. I really prefer to order from B&H but use them to verify pricing.. so the adaptors could be disappearing from inventory, but B&H to the rescue again. Yeah!
