The Satellite comes with software such as Microsoft Works for productivity applications. The computer features a memory card reader to download photos from digital camera memory cards. You can easily connect peripheral devices such as digital cameras and MP3 players to the computer via the 4 installed USB 2.0 ports.

The system is powered by a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5800 CPU and boasts 3GB of RAM, 250GB SATA hard drive capacity, a SuperMulti DVD burner with Labelflash, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, and a 16" widescreen display powered by Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics. Windows Vista Home Premium is the platform that ties all this hardware and software together, providing a great portable computer for the digital savvy family, backed by the Toshiba name.

• Windows Vista Home Premium: The computer comes preloaded with the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system from Microsoft. Vista includes the slick Aero user interface, complete with the Windows Sidebar, gadget support, Flip3D navigation and more. The Home Premium edition of Vista includes the popular Windows Media Center application.
