HP / Hewlett Packard Premium Autofocus Webcam
The Premium Autofocus Webcam from Hewlett-Packard is a full-featured webcam. The 3MP webcam features an autofocus lens and 30fps video capture. It can capture interpolated stills at 12MP resolution.
The camera features tilt and pan adjustment, allowing you to position it as you see fit. It attaches to a computer monitor with a flexible clip-stand, and can open your IM client of choice with the press of a button.

The HP Webcam was plug and play from the start. The picture clarity was much improved over the one we had earlier (different brand)that developed a short in the cord. We especially like the tilt and pan mounting, although the clip could use a spring to keep it on the laptop screen a little better. If you move too quickly, the camera will come off the computer.

Now I am viewing and talking to famiy and friends online without the cost of long distance charges. The picture is very clear; colors are very bright and not fuzzy or distorted. I love it. This HP Premium Autofocus Webcam cost less with this company than others I checked. Even the 2 yr replacement contract cost less with B&H Photo.Video.Pro Audio.

Just bought this as a birthday gift for soon-to-be grandmother so she can video-conference with baby. The woman is pushing 70 and set the camera up with no problem, so that should give you an idea of how simple it is. We've Skyped with her a couple times to test and have no complaints. Is the video/audio network broadcast quality? I don't think so, but it's cheap and for simple Skype-ing we have absolutely no complaints.

Easy to install and setup - was operational in less than 10 minutes. Hearing from people on other end of chats that quality is great. Easy to use on my end. Haven't even read the manual yet and I have been using for two weeks now.

Bought this webcam for my wife to Skype with her friend on the other side of the country. It was easy to set up and the quality of the picture is fine for our purposes. We haven't used it for anything other than Skype and may never do so.
