The AXIS 0286-021 is a 10 pack of Axis 209FD-R Network Cameras and connect via RJ-45 connectors. These cameras are compact and rugged and have been designed specifically to withstand tough environments, including mass transit. They have a tamper-resistant casing that can withstand the vibrations, humidity, dust and fluctuating temperatures found, for example, in buses and trains. These tiny marvels are palm-sized, discreet network cameras that pack alot of use with progressive scan technology to provide full resolution images of moving objects with no distortion. The 209FD-R produces VGA resolution and features intelligent capabilities such as the active tampering alarm, which sends an alarm when tampering attempts such as blocking or spray painting are detected. The camera utilizes Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) to power the cameras via the network, eliminating the need for power cables and reducing installation costs.
