Bosh VG4-323-ECS1M AutoDome 300 Series PTZ Camera System

The Bosch VG4-323-ECS1M is a high performance PTZ dome camera designed with an emphasis on providing dependable security monitoring both day and night and in most lighting and weather conditions. As part of the AutoDome 300 Series Camera System, this dome is made up of individual components, each available for separate purchase. This makes it possible to swap, replace or upgrade a particular portion without having to buy a whole new system, thus preserving an original investment. For example, a user can install an IP module to add Internet capabilities to this camera or change the existing mount or power supply for one that better suits a particular application.

A PTZ dome camera may be initially higher in cost, but when operated to its utmost potential, can be used in place of many fixed cameras, making it a significant money saver in the long run.

These and other features elevate this system from being just another dome to an indispensable monitoring tool for high-end security operations like banks, casinos, department stores, government facilities and sports arenas.

Weatherproof & Rugged Design
With its IP66 rated EnviroDome enclosure, this camera can be safely installed outdoors in adverse weather conditions and in temperatures as low as -40°F. For extreme weather conditions, an optional "XT" kit can be installed, further increasing the camera's low temperature tolerance level to -76°F. Furthermore, this unit incorporates into its design several vandal resistant measures to discourage tampering. These include a polycarbonate bubble, recessed set screws and a recessed bubble latch.
Day/Night Function with 128x DNR
When confronted by poor or difficult lighting situations, this camera has a range of internal controls that it can readily tap into and self correct. Chiefly among those is a Day/Night function and 12x Digital Noise Reduction. DNR effectively deals with such problems as harsh back lit situations and areas containing both very dark and very bright sections within the same image, conditions frequently present in glass enclosed lobbies and outdoor parking lots. The camera's Day/Night function auto switches the video signal from high resolution color to an ultra-sensitive B/W mode when light levels fall, thus ensuring dependable 24-hour security monitoring.
Super Fast Pan/Tilt Speeds
In preset mode, camera movement can be operated at an incredible 360° per second for pan and 210° per second for tilt. This degree of performance will allow an operator to follow a fast moving person or object before they have a chance to move off screen.
Advanced Privacy Masking
To prevent privacy infringement and other legal headaches, this camera incorporates a powerful privacy masking function. Privacy masking supports a total of 24 individual blocks, with up to 8 blocks displayed on the same screen. A block does not need to be square but can have 3, 4 or even 5 corners to accommodate more complex shapes like an arched doorway or a uniquely shaped store window. Blocks can be black, white or blurred. A blurred block effectively prevents object identification while still allowing movement to show through. Blocks also have the ability to adjust their size in proportion to the camera's zoom.
