The Ikan V8000HDMI-C is an 8" LCD monitor designed for high definition video monitoring, providing ample resolution to determine focus in both 1080i or 720p modes. The unit comes fully featured with multiple connections, including component and composite video, S-Video, as well as HDMI.
Additionally, the LCD features a battery plate for Canon batteries, making sure users can integrate the monitor into their existing catalog of equipment. Whether attaching directly to the camera or jib arm, the V-8000HDMI-C is a highly capable video-assist monitor.

My first monitor. I'm mainly a stills guy but I have been doing more video lately. For some reason I thought this came with a HDMI cable which it doesn't. My mistake. The power situation is kinda less than ideal. The wall plug is ok, but I thought the Canon mount would support more than some odd camcorder battery. The guides are great and the weight is good. Its a good first time monitor but for a few hundred more you can get great screens with better power options. A good first time setup.

It is great lcd screen. I use in trolly crain & my Steadicam. This screen give me a good picture quality.
