The Sea & Sea DX-1G Sport Kit features the DX-1G camera. This is actually a kit that includes a Sea & Sea housing that is rated to a depth of 164' (50 m), along with the Sea & Sea DX-1G camera. Since this camera has a shutter lag time of only 0.1 seconds it is well suited for underwater use. Of course, the camera is also ideal for snorkeling, surfing, skiing, fishing, sailing, or even certain industrial situations.
The camera features a large 2.5" TFT liquid crystal monitor. This makes framing underwater easy and fun. Since the camera has manual as well as program exposure modes you have complete control of balancing the available light to strobe light. These features along with exceptional macro capability of focusing to 1/2" make the DX-1G's functionality and performance close to an SLR without the bulk, hassle and weight. The Sea & Sea DX-1G housing allows access to all camera functions underwater.
The kit includes one Sea & Sea YS-110a high-performance strobe that is designed to be compatible with most cameras. The automatic pre-flash function will adjust for most digital or film cameras. The YS-110a has a 12-step control dial, for precision manual manipulation of light output. The large dial is easy to handle, even when wearing heavy gloves. When used with the DX-1G, the strobe fires with the included fiber optic cable. If you upgrade to an SLR housing with hot shoe the strobe will fire with a 5-pin Nikonos sync cord. The strobe features a bright LED target light, recycle time of 1.9 seconds at full power and a guide number of 22 (ISO 100/m). This strobe will easily help produce stunning underwater photographs.
The Sea Arm VII with tray is also included. The Sea Arm VII is constructed of fiberglass-reinforced plastic resin offering a lightweight yet strong arm. With the included components, you can create a custom arm setup for your lighting needs. This kit includes everything you need to nurture your creativity and allow expansion of your underwater photography skills.

- Three exposure modes and 2 custom modes available for control over image creativity: A (Aperture Mode), P (Program Mode), M (Manual Exposure Mode) and 2 Custom modes (MY1 and MY2)

YS-110a External Flash
- Three Xenon flash tubes for a broad 105° X 105° angle of coverage
- Bright LED target light in center of the strobe face. When the strobe fires the LED light is interrupted momentarily
- Connects with a fiber optic cable to the DX-1G or Nikonos 5-pin sync cord to SLR cameras
- Guide number 22 (ISO 100/m) for high power performance
