The DVR-X162Q 20x External USB 2.0 DVD Burner with Qflix from Pioneer is an external burner that can write all standard DVD and CD formats. It features a standard USB 2.0 interface, making it easy to connect to virtually any computer.
The drive ships with an extensive software bundle for Windows. In addition to disc burning, the drive supports Qflix technology. This allows you to purchase DVD movies online, and download them directly to your computer. This drive allows you to burn these movies to disc and watch them in any standard DVD player.

I was going to use the drive primarily to burn DVDs. The ROXIO software supplied with the unit never worked properly. The different ROXIO modules Venue & Cinemanow never worked together and they never communicated correctly with the CinemaNow website. I don't know how good the drive is because I haven't found any software that's compatible with it including Nero. I have not been able to burn ant Qflix movies. [...] Because of the software issues, I may have to return the drive since I can't get it to work.

Having been using a pioneer dvd burner for 2 years
with 100% record,which is still working great,and
needing another for a second PC ,I starting looking
for a another,but my local stores,seem to be stocking
real off-brands,that I never heard of. Then I checked
B&H,right there in stock,a beautiful Pioneer,plug and
play,up and burning in 5 minutes. Have not used the
Qflex feature,but I will. A GREAT BUY!!
