I bought this to use for an outdoor wedding I shot recently. There were a couple problems though. First, the opening of the windscreen, where you put the lavalier, is huge. I could stick my finger in there. There is no way that it would stay on the lav by itself. I put one of the foam screens that came with the mic on the lav first, then put the Fuzzy Topper on top of that. Maybe that's the way they designed it, but there's no directions explaining that. That actually worked okay, and I don't think it would have come off, but there was nothing securing it to the lav.
Secondly, this thing is huge. Like about 2 inches across. I bought the beige color to try to match the groom's light yellow vest (it didn't match perfectly, but it could have worked), but he took one look at it and laughed. I would have looked like a small animal perched on his chest. The picture doesn't really give a good sense of size, so beware. We ended up using a yellow/orange foam windscreen that was much smaller.

I have been using these for mic-ing grooms and officiants for weddings. So far these are the best windscreens on the market. All the smaller sponge type had lots of noise at any breeze. This of course doesn't count on very windy days where nothing will stop the wind noise. They are larger than the sponge mics though so for pictures they are a larger fingerprint to hide, but because they come in multi-colors I always find one to match.
