Comments about Century Precision Optics 0.6x Wide Angle Adapter Lens:
Attempted to use with a Panasonic HPX-250.
Purchased to shoot B-Roll of building interiors. The lens is very sharp and I had no problems with it from that perspective. My problem is that when used with the Panasonic HPX-250, there is severe distorion to vertical lines on the left and right edges of the screen. This is a common problem with WA lenses and should not be taken a criticism of this lens. However, when trying to film the inside of a room, if the walls look like fish-eye, there's no benefit to the lens. In all fairness to Century Optics, this IS a .6x WA adapter and probably not designed for what I was trying to do.
The lens would probably be fine for outdoor use such as landscapes or any other situation where you don't have vertical lines on the sides.
In order to loose the distorion, I had to zoom in to aproxiately 35mm (WA on the camera's lens is 21mm). Of course, zooming in to 35mm and using a .6 WA adapter is no better than just using the original lens at 21mm.
I rated this 5 stars because it was sharp, well made and I don't want to discourage someone else from buying it when their use may be completely different then mine. If possible, I would have preferred to leave these comments to help another buyer without rating the lens at all.

Comments about Century Precision Optics 0.6x Wide Angle Adapter Lens:
I did some test shots and so far so good. I find focusing with the HMC150 with this lens to be quite difficult, but that is just due to lack of practise. I found myself in the macro area of focus... but it worked well. I just have to get used to it.

Comments about Century Precision Optics 0.6x Wide Angle Adapter Lens:
This lens is a super-wide with the HMC150/HPX170 cameras. ( equivalent to 17mm lens on a 35mm Full-Frame DSLR )
The focus is quickly lost if you try to zoom with this lens, which is to be expected with this type of lens.

Comments about Century Precision Optics 0.6x Wide Angle Adapter Lens:
Using the .6x Adapter on the HPX170. It was meant for this camera and the HMC150. The adapter twist locks on to the 170 like the OEM lens shade.Just Perfect! YOU CAN ZOOM THRU WITH THIS ADAPTER! Only about 2/3 thru your total zoom. That is more than enought flexibility for the adapter.Price, weight, sharpness and design are Great! Tried a .75x in store but was too bulky and costly.Draw backs would be cost of 102mm protective glass and added cost of lens hood.
