I purchased a few of these to keep in my kit for situations where costuming made it difficult to hide transmitters. I quickly learned these are great for "non-professional" talent, everyday people being interviewed in documentary settings. These make the process of wiring up such people much more comfortable for them.

I had a shoot with characters in superhero costumes and nowhere to mount wireless transmitters. These belts came in VERY handy for just that reason. I chose the color closest to skin tone and waist size for the most flexibility. These straps would work fine for a thigh mount as well. I used both a lectro and AT transmitter and both fit perfectly.

The Standard Waist Belt fits the Sony UWP Transmitter perfectly. I use this for actors that wear tight clothing to conceal the transmitter.
It works fine but the velcro can scratch the actors if you don't perfectly line up the velcro so none goes over the edges. They could have left a half inch off the sides of the strap and you'd still have good hold on the velcro. I spend precious minutes trying to ensure none of the velcro is exposed.

I purchased this nifty little device after learning the hard way that putting transmitters into a subject's pockets can result in broken equipment when they sit on the connection between mic and transmitter. So now I use this as standard operating procedure, even if it's not essential to hide the mic - this just takes better care of it. And it's comfortable. Love it.

I own both the black and beige versions of the Neo Pax straps, identical in quality, but gives an option of a light skinned band for those wearing shear clothing. Sturdy velcro , with few slippage issues because of how tight to the body you can adjust it to. Excellent buy for pro sound.
