At first glance, the ACTi ACM-1311N looks like any other bullet camera. Probe a little further and you'll realize you're looking at a high performance IP camera, perfectly well suited for even demanding security environments. Chances are, everything you imagined would be nice to have in a network camera, ACTi thought of it too.
It all starts with a Sony HAD CCD, providing you with clean and bright pictures. Then there are MPEG-4/MJPEG compression options for better data management. Let's not forget its IR illumination system so you can see in the dark. The good news keeps on coming in the form of audio I/O ports and a built-in motion detection function. Finally, there's a PoE feature, so you'll have greater flexibility in the installation process.

- Powerful IR Illumination
- When the amount of light falls below usable levels, 24 built-in IR LEDs automatically activate, allowing you to see up to 50' (15m) in the dark. Thanks to ACTi's exclusive SOC technology, the IR illumination system draws very little power.
- Hybrid Analog and Ethernet Video Output
- With both Ethernet and BNC connectors, you can take advantage of the latest in network technology without severing yourself from the analog world. In practical terms this means you can hook up the camera to a VCR for recording or a TV for monitoring at the time the camera is transmitting digitally over the network.
- Selectable MPEG-4 / MJPEG Compression
- Selectable MPEG-4/MJPEG encoding modes give you the ability to prioritize higher quality over lower compression or vice versa, depending on your particular application.
- Multi-Stream with Variable Frame Rate
- You can set the camera to send multiple streams of video at different frame rates within the same compression format. This way, you have better control over how data is distributed over the network.
- 2-Way Audio
- Attach a microphone and speaker of your choice to the back of the camera and you'll be able to hear and speak with a person at the camera location over the network.
- PoE (Power over Ethernet)
- With the addition of a PoE injector, you will be able to power the camera via the same Ethernet cable used to communicate data to the camera. This will make it easy to install the camera near ceilings, in hallways, elevators, outdoor locations and similar areas with no direct access to an AC outlet.
