The black with gray 1711 Superlight Computer Messenger 15 from Tamrac is a slim, lightweight 600 denier PolyTek and ballistic nylon bag designed to carry and protect a laptop computer with a screen up to 15.4". There is a completely foam-padded laptop compartment with a plastic-reinforced bottom to protect the computer. A foam-padded, adjustable divider keeps files and documents organized and separated.
The Superlight 1711 has a front pocket that organizes personal items such as an MP3 player, business cards, pens and other small items. It has a zippered pocket on the front flap that holds travel documents and personal items. There is also a convenient side pocket that holds a cell phone. The case has a Piggy-Back Pocket that when closed is a pocket and when open it allows the bag to be slipped over the handle of rolling luggage. The case is carried by handles or an adjustable shoulder strap with a non-slip pad.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised by the understated look and high quality of the bag. He loved it and once my stepfather saw it, he ordered 2 more - one for himself and my brother as a gift! It's a perfect medium sized bag - a little smaller than most messenger bags, but big enough to fit a 15" laptop and everything else, with lots of pockets. It's casual enough to be an everyday bag, but also looks nice and professional, without being pretentious. Fantastic deal for the price.

Purchased as a gift for someone who travels on business frequently. Features of bag are great for this - zippered section for ipod, earbuds, pens, ect. Appears to be constructed well yet lightweight.

The material is light, pliable and excellent in rain. I carry this 5 days a week (at least) the profile of the bag and the oversized shoulder strap is very gratifying.
My new laptop fits snug in it's spot and the peripherals fit well in the separate pocket.
The expandable water bottle sleeve is like a custom fit for carrying what usually more difficult to carry, water.
Modification would be: The outside flap should have some adjustment for tightness and using the handle makes the bag off balance and droop forward.
