The brown with tan 1713 Superlight Computer Messenger 17 from Tamrac is a slim, lightweight 600 denier PolyTek and ballistic nylon bag designed to carry and protect a laptop computer with a screen up to 17". There is a completely foam-padded laptop compartment with a plastic-reinforced bottom to protect the computer. A foam-padded, adjustable divider keeps files and documents organized and separated.
The Superlight 1713 has a front pocket that organizes personal items such as an MP3 player, business cards, pens and other small items. It has a zippered pocket on the front flap that holds travel documents and personal items. There is also a convenient side pocket that holds a cell phone. The case has a Piggy-Back Pocket that when closed is a pocket and when open it allows the bag to be slipped over the handle of rolling luggage. The case is carried by handles or an adjustable shoulder strap with a non-slip pad.

This bag holds your laptop and accessories with room for plenty more. The pad on the shoulder strap is very comfortable and doesn't want to slip down your shoulder, and the shoulder strap has plenty of length and is easily adjusted. The thing that sets this bag apart is its balance. I missed getting the clasp latched this morning and never knew it until I got to work and went to remove my laptop from the bag. Along the way from home to work, I handled the bag by both the shoulder strap and the handle and never felt like the bag wanted to tip and dump the contents.
I haven't owned it long enough to comment on its durability and wear, but so far so good everywhere else.
